Wouldn't it be nice if dinner could be ready when you are? It can be with a slow cooker and one of the 120 delicious recipes from Semi-Homemade Slow Cooking 2. Keeping to her formula of simple and quick, Sandra Lee presents recipes that taste like you spent hours in the kitchen. Summary: Great Recipes in this book
Comment: I bought this book because I really love the show that Sandra Lee has on the Food Network. The recipes are all easy to follow and the few that I have made so far have been really good. If you are a busy mom and trying to get dinner on the table as quick as possible, I would definately read this one.

Comment: This cookbook came highly recommended. I've tried several of the recipes, and all of them were delicious. I substituted spare ribs for short ribs in the Marmalade BBQ Short Ribs recipe. My husband loved them.

Summary: Great book for busy people
Comment: I was skeptical when I first purchased this book, because I've watched her show and am not a fan. But the concept seemed intriguing, as time is a factor for me. I really enjoy quickly preparing my dinner in the crock pot before work or before running errands then returning to a fully cooked meal. The recipes in this book are inventive and taste great. I've tried nearly half of them so far. All thumbs up here!!

Summary: to many cans of soup
Comment: There are so many recipes that involve condensed soup that it makes me feel bad to feed it to my family, but overall not a bad book.

Comment: This cookbook is just as great as the first one. Again I have not put my slow cooker away yet as I have many more meals to try out.
