Comment: I just bought this book yesterday. The pictures are absolutely beautiful. I think that's what made me buy it! I love the fabric line that she used for the crafts, but I noticed she didn't mention the designer. Does anyone know?

Summary: Cute with lovely pictures, but wanted more substance
Comment: I ordered this book after reading the positive reviews as I was looking to make this year's Christmas a little more personal, more... homemade.
The book is indeed pretty, with gorgeous photos of wonderfully quirky and cute projects using nice fabric, but I was looking for something with a greater variety of projects that could serve practical Christmas functions, done to a higher level of finesse.
There are a few items that were great and I will probably make: the teddy bears, the angel wings, the bird ornaments, the stockings (with a modified pattern)...
My biggest complaint is that of the 35 projects, there would be 5-8 that are "remakes" of the same item/theme - for example, the large angel, small angel, angel tapestry, angel framed card, angle wings, angel ornament... if you didn't like the angel design, there are only 20-something projects left to choose from.
Overall, the book is lovely but did not meet my specific expectations - I probably would not have bought the book if I had the chance to flip through the contents.
