With Sizzlers, Monda Rosenberg, backed by the Chatelaine Test Kitchen, follows on the success of Quickies, with more than 200 recipes for indoor and outdoor grilling. Most of the recipes include two methods – one for the barbecue, the other for indoor grilling. Simple, fast, and tasty, the recipes present delicious ways to grill old favourites, while introducing less common barbecue choices, such as fruit and pizza, and exciting international flavours, such as Thai and Tex-Mex. Categories are arranged alphabetically for easy access, with the name of the ingredient to be sizzled running down the side of the page. Recipes are clear, with the ingredients listed in red, followed by the method in black. In the Food Express tradition, recipes are all developed with an eye on the clock (for instance if a marinade is suggested, it needs one hour or less to be effective).
