Editorial Reviews:

From classic Spanish sangria to sparkling raspberry lemoncello, Sangria offers pitcher-perfect recipes for fruity wine and champagne drinks, plus tapas perfect for easy entertaining. With recipes for red, white, and sparkling sangria, these concoctions will turn any party into a full-blown fiesta. The sangria repertoire kicks off with fun-to-make recipes such as zesty Spanish Harlem Sangria, Sangria Caliente with a tequila kick, and Lime and Roses Rose Sangria blooming with the perfect melding of citrus and rose wine. Tapas offerings make the perfect complement with a summer ensalada of ripe Bosc pears or tasty Citrus Zest Olives. Sangria has a colorful history, which author Mittie Hellmich covers with her typical flair in a lively introduction. Red, white, or sparkling, the best is la sangria!

Summary: Looking Forward!
Comment: I have yet to actually make any of the recipes but I have looked through them and they look great. At the very least I'll have fun making them and trying them all. =)

Summary: Tasty and Easy, what else could you want?
Comment: I was very pleased with this book. I got it in the dead of winter in Michigan and made a new, sunny, summery pitcher every weekend as an escape. The recipes are simple, with enticing pictures. It is not a big book and has just enough recipes to inspire and teach you a basic formula, in which you can then plug in your own ingredients. I have made many succesful ones on my own just with whatever looks good in the produce section, and following the formula. A bottle of wine, a couple of shots of liquor, fresh fruit, and something fizzy. Delish!

Summary: The only sangria book you'll ever need
Comment: This book is great. I did not really know what a tasteful experience different types of sangria could bring to the tastebuds. This book is well written and easily readible. The illustrations are great. It is set up into different sangria categories.

Red Wine Sangria
White wine sangria
Sparkling wine sangria
Rose wine sangria
Spanish Tapas (appetizer section)

RED WINE SANGRIA-
Sparkling apple cider- Had it at Thanksgiving and it went fast. So fall themed.

Limonada Espana- Peach and lemon sangria with Licor 43 yummy!

WHITE WINE SANGRIA-

Strawberry mint-very refreshing!

Roman Holiday- grapes, peaches, lemons, and limoncello liquor. I felt like i was on a summer trip in Rome.

SPARKLING SANGRIAS-

Havana Banana- I know bananas in sangria I though it was weird to, but mixed with sparkling champagne, rum triple sec, and pineapples. It was a tropical oasis.

There are soo many more recipes that I have yet to try. I think there is a recipe for any occasion. Summer, fall, spring. For spanish, italian, even japenese style sangrias. They even have a sangria using hot peppers for you spice lovers out there.

Enjoy!!
You can even mix and match ingredients.
