For people who like to salsa like they like their salsa -- mucho! -- here are more than 60 recipes in a Latin-inspired cookbook guaranteed to get the party started. With three of the hottest Latin restaurants on the east coast to his credit, Rafael Palomino knows how to throw a proper fiesta. His vibrant, accessible recipes for pasabocas (appetizers), main courses, and desserts will grant any host or hostess the powers for effortless entertaining. Fusion treats like Chipotle Crabmeat and Sweet Plantain Empanadas, and Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewers are a fresh take on cocktail food. Just say ceviche and there's an entire chapter devoted to zesty takes like Blood Orange, Shrimp and Mango-Wasabi. With color-drenched photos, mix-and-match salsitas and sauces, and plenty of Latin flair, here's very good food for very good times.

Customer Rating: Summary: Beyond the ordinary recipes! Comment: I just bought this book and I love the unusual and different ingredients suggested. Check out the Black Quinoa and Sweet Plantain Shrimp Salad. Sounds yummy and the presentation fun.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not For Those On A Budget!!! Comment: Yea this is a great book with great recipes if you can afford the VERY EXPENSIVE cuts of meat and seafood these recipes call for. ALmost every other recipe called for Lobster! Lots of Shrimp (which is not THAT expensive) recipes too but a few called for Filet Mignon!! I suppose you could substitute them with Chicken/Beef or other seafoods, but I'm curious as to whom this book was intended for? I am assuming the very rich. If you want to spend Alot of money on a "Fiesta" party--(which i doubt most people do) then this book is for you but for those of us who are on a budget i would suggest looking elsewhere for more realstic Latin recipes.
Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect for entertaining! Comment: I loved this book. It got me fabulous response from two dinner parties.
Everyone loved the Yellow fin tuna Coconut Ceviche. and the Grilled Steak with Chorizo Hash Browns. Rave reviews from everyone.Thanks.
Customer Rating: Summary: A Delight to Devour Comment: From the introduction to the index, this book is a delight to devour! The recipes are totally accessible and fabulously delicious. I can't wait to work my way through the book--which I plan to do this summer! This is a perfect gift for someone who likes to entertain, or someone who collects cookbooks--the photos and design are also beautiful. This is the perfect FIESTA book!
Customer Rating: Summary: Crazy Recipes Comment: This is not a simple book for someone who is looking to have fun latin Recipes at their party. These are more gourmet recipes. If you are lookinf for a funy idea for partys try " Latin Chic" the recipes are better and easier. If you are looking for "gourmet latin" this is for you.
