Summary: Great for Christmas and all year!
Comment: This is one of those cookbooks that you really just can't put down. One of these days, I've threatened to start at the beginning of this book and just cook everything until I get to the end! It's quite captivating and the recipes, wow, they're outstanding! I've made so many of them and the reviews, well, there's never any leftovers if that says anything! Southern Living has outstanding cookbooks and this one is just over the top. Highly, highly recommend!

Comment: The book Southern Living Christmas Cookbook is a delightful book to just read and wish. There are so many ideas and great receipes I truly can't wait until Christmas to get started. Several of my girlfriends who have taken a peak inside my book all loved it and have also ordered one for themselves.

Summary: Half of them good, half I'll never make.
Comment: This book had a lot of individual recipes that I really liked but the rest I don't think I'll bother with. The book is made up of menus so you pretty much have to pick and choose and make up your own menu as you go along. Great pictures though, really puts you in the mood for the holidays.

Comment: I am very pleased with this purchase. The photos are so wonderful and makes one feel so relaxed and into the Christmas spirit. Have already tried a couple of the recipes and the family thoroughly enjoyed them.

Summary: Incredible recipies
Comment: This is one of my favorite cookbooks, it contains many of my favorite deserts such as the Italian cream cake ,Coconut-Chocolate-Almond Cheesecake,Chocolate Truffle Cake,etc.. I also love the fact that the author included lots of color photos giving visual cooks like myself an idea of what the finished product should look like. For those who are tired of making the same boring holiday meals,I would definitely encourage you to buy this cookbook.
