Customer Rating: Summary: Delicious Recipes Comment: This book has many delicious recipes.
Cooking Light in the past has always met my expectations.
Customer Rating: Summary: Odd Recipes Comment: I got this cookbook because I was looking for healthy recipes for my slow cooker. While the recipes are no doubt healthy, few-to-none of them are for what I would consider "common" dishes. I ended up getting the Betty Crocker Slow Cooker cookbook (which gives you a nutritional breakdown for every recipe at the bottom of each page) and like that one a lot better.
Customer Rating: Summary: Slow Cooking Reviewed Comment: I thoroughly enjoyed this cookbook and have repeatedly used its recipes. It is a great starting point to create wonderful recipes of your own.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Healthy Cookbook!!! Comment: If you love healthy delicious food - this book is for you!! "Saucy Italian Chicken Thighs" is my Husband's favorite dish & he is a very picky eater.
Customer Rating: Summary: Some good recipe ideas, but doesn't make the most of the slow cooker Comment: The flavors of the recipes are decent and there are some interesting new ideas, but why use canned beans in a slow cooker? Upon thumbing through my copy (which I am going to sell) I saw recipe after recipe that intrigued me, only to find that the ingredient list contained canned beans. Maybe I'm odd, but I enjoy the nice consistency you get from cooking your own beans in the slow cooker from dry beans.
