    Summary: Cooking Light=Cooking with Flavor
Comment: Did you know the staff at Cooking Light magazine compiles their recipes and releases them as a hardcover book every year? Each of the books have a three-way index: one is listed by main ingredient, one by the month in which it originally appeared, and one by the name of the dish. Recipes cover everything from appetizers to desserts, and each includes nutrition information. There are also mini-features discussing everything from seasonal vegetables to what the various cuts of beef mean. After Joy of Cooking, I probably use Cooking Light the most--I just made their version of coconut shrimp last weeekend and loved it. The brilliant folks at Cooking Light demonstrate that it's more than possible to come up with a nutritious version of all of our favorite comfort foods!

Summary: Not a bad one in the bunch yet!
Comment: I got this book in Christmas of 2006 and I have tried countless recipes. I haven't had a bad one yet! I've made breads, desserts, main dishes, sides, salads and the occasional soup. All have been great! I usually pick something new from the book to serve to dinner guests. They are never disappointed! Recipes are clear, easy to understand and delicious. They have food from different ethnicities to help keep this fresh and different. They even include menus for themed parties and seasons. I haven't looked for another cookbook since.

Summary: Great Addition to Cookbook Library
Comment: Cooking Light Annual Recipes 2007 (Cooking Light Annual Recipes)

This is a great cookbook. It's fun to browse through and easy to use with common ingredients, good photos and foolproof instructions. While the recipes are not super low-cal, they're reasonably low calorie and provide both everyday and 'company' recipes.

Summary: The go to cookbook in our house...
Comment: I have not cooked from any other cookbook since I brought this home. Every recipe we have tried has been so good. Healthy recipes that taste good, not bland. How can you go wrong?
