Customer Rating:      Summary: comfort food diet cookbook Comment: Although I haven't tried the recipes yet, they do look good and not hard to make. I just don't cook all that much and wanted it for the baking recipes. All and all, it's a nice cookbook.
Customer Rating:      Summary: Taste of Home Comfort Food Diet Cookbook Comment: This is a wonderful cookbook with easy to prepare recipes with items most will have on hand. It does compile the recipes of the Taste of Home Comfort Food Diet Cookbooks of 2008 and 2009 with about a dozen other recipes. I have both those as well and probably wouldn't have purchased this one had I known it was a compilation of those two books. I've used many of the recipes from those two books over the past couple years and have enjoyed them all and used them many times. I'll pass the old books on to my daughter and keep the single one.

Customer Rating:      Summary: ENJOYING THIS COOKBOOK Comment: I couldn't wait to start using some of the recipes from this cookbook. First, I scanned over the entire cookbook, clipping pages of the recipes that peaked my interest. I just purchased a new belgian waffle iron, so, the Waffles w/peach-berry compote sounded "tasty". It didn't dissapoint. Being an avid reader, the success stories of the featured individuals gave me motivation to start my own fitness program as well. I give this cookbook two "thumbs up".
Customer Rating:      Summary: This is My Kind of Diet Food Comment: One of my biggest complaints about diets is I don't eat cabbage soup or fat free mayonnaise in my real life! I have wanted to find a way to diet and still eat creamy foods and desserts! Well I found it in this Cook Book from Taste of Home. The food choices in this book are made with ingredients that I usually shop for; when I'm not on a diet. Its easy to follow recipes tell you the portion size that relates to the calorie count, so that you can keep in control.
In conclusion, the recipes are really good, you would make them again and again....I have already lost 10 lbs!
