Summary: Could have been from Grandma!
Comment: These recipes were great!! The ingredients are largely cupboard staples, and they are all easy to make. The Mock Boursin Cheese rivals a local cheesery in a nearby historical village. There are recipes that I would have NEVER thought of (a fruit salad with spaghetti??? DELICIOUS!) and some old recipes of things I haven't thought of in years (like eggs-in-a-hole... from Girl Scouts in the late 70's). I recommend this for people who want to make things from scratch without all the "fluff" of some other cookbooks.

Summary: heirloom cookbook!
Comment: I love this cook book! I found several recipes that I thought were made up family concoctions. The "porcupines" recipe is great. It is like glumkes without the cabbage. Terrific, rib sticking old standbys that you never had the recipe to.
