Summary: More than I ever wanted to know...
Comment: Naked Chocolate contains more information about cacao and the caco bean than anyone would ever want to know. If you're interested in the vast history of this bean, then this book is for you. Otherwise, read something more interesting.

Summary: A Charlatan
Comment: David Wolfe is a charlatan of the highest order, capitalizing on the new age health food craze and creating addictions out of people seeking another high.

I don't recommend touching this book with a ten foot pole, unless you want to be sold on a life of addiction to raw chocolate.

Not to mention his Raw Chocolate products(the only safe ones to consume, according to him) have HUGE margins built into them.

A mere POUND of chocolate goes for over $25 on his site. For those who don't know, you could not find one other retailer who sells chocolate for that amount of money. It is comparable to selling a pound of cashews for $25. If you saw it in a store you would say that it is ridiculous, and it is.

Summary: Goods and bads
Comment: It's great that the book about cacao came out, as there very few of them. The pictures are great and some recipes are good
However, the way it's written,... I wonder what the authors were doing in Amsterdam... Raw scientific data is just taking out of context. It's all over the place, from oversimplified ideas to dry complicated scientific staff. Be consistent! Or was the editor also "eating chocolate" in Amsterdam :-))

Summary: Good News!
Comment: It wasn't my intention to leap into raw foods, but this book was a wonderful way to do that. It expanded my cuisine knowledge into guilt-free ways to chocolate daily, along with other superfoods my teenagers are now passing around to friends. Great fun, especially with little ones who can "cook" without the stove...and the food is portable, which has really simplified my daily momentum. I'm still looking for Durian...sounds fabulous...Thanks, David!

Summary: Great Insight into Health Benefits of Raw Chocolate!
Comment: It was very interesting to read about the history of chocolate and how why most of the chocolate out there on the market is bad for you. Raw chocolate is good for you, while most chocolate you buy in the stores is processed and literally dead of all nutrients!

David Wolfe has done great reearch and offers a this book is a great resource. Asa result of this in my family we use raw chocolate and the health benefits are really amazing. Definetely a book to have in your personal library if you are after a healthy life!
