Summary: Cookies from D.C.
Comment: I first saw this cookie cookbook at the White House Gift shop in Washington D.C. this summer, but I didn't buy it there as I didn't want to carry a book around all day. I came home and looked it up on Amazon....and there it was from a Marketplace seller so I ordered it. I just love it, it gives a page of info about the Presidents and the first ladies along with their recipe. (Pictures of both also). Starts out with George and Martha & ends up with George & Laura. And the cookie recipes are from early American recipes to great everyday cookies everybody likes. It is spiral bound so it lays flat and the pages are a nice heavyweight paper. It is a delightful addition to my cookbook collection.
