Editorial Reviews:

Everyone loves chocolate!

Chocolate is often a dieter’s downfall, but if you Somersize, it doesn’t have to be. In the tradition of her bestselling Somersize Desserts comes Suzanne Somers’ newest contribution to the Somersize phenomenon—guilt-free recipes for mouthwatering goodies that satisfy chocolate cravings without causing a dieting disaster. Thanks to SomerSweet, Suzanne’s revolutionary sweetener with less than one gram of carbohydrate and zero sugars per serving, you can enjoy scrumptious low-carb desserts such as:

• Molten Chocolate Cake with White Chocolate Lava

• White Chocolate Pots de Crème

• Chocolate Crepes with Mascarpone Filling

• Grasshopper Pie with Chocolate Curls

• Chocolate-Dipped Cocoa Meringue Cookies

• Chocolate Cheesecake Petit Fours

With these thirty recipes, you’ll never have to trade dessert for a smaller waistline. By incorporating these tasty treats into your Somersize program, you can look and feel great without depriving yourself of any of your favorite foods.

Summary: Love chocolate, not shopping
Comment: If you don't mind shopping for Somersize sweetener, Somersize chocolate, Somersize white chocolate, etc. then this book would likely be a good one. I am sure that the recipes are good. I just didn't have the energy to get MORE ingredients for my pantry that I might or might not get around to using. Suzanne looks great, and her recipes from other books were quite good. I was looking for easy chocolate recipes that were low in sugar that I could actually eat. I think I'll just buy some Lara bars from my local grocer. Whew. Just thinking about shopping makes me tired, and I even like shopping at Amazon, but hate paying shipping - although many times that is free or less than the cost of gas to buy special ingredients from several different stores (as you are all well aware of). Still, if you don't mind the shopping, the recipes look like they would turn out well.

Summary: Suzanne does it again!
Comment: Suzanne's recipes are always innovative and well thought-out. I never have any trouble concocting one of her recipes. Just to point out to the editorial reviewer--the "Level One" or "Level Two" is not a difficulty measurement. It is for the people who are following Suzanne's way of eating, where a food item is considered Level One or Level Two. I really hate it when people write reviews who don't do their research first.
