Editorial Reviews:

This book was created to help fill a void in the preparation and cooking of wild game. I got very tired of eating the same old thing every hunting season and when eating at someone else's home. Many cookbooks only have maybe one or two recipes on venison, and nothing on many of the other critters that scurry about in the forest. After all our forefathers ate them, why not us too?

Summary: Tracker-Outdoors.com Review of Hunter's Cookbook
Comment: Rob kindly asked Tracker-Outdoors.com to provide a review of his new cookbook. Upon receiving it, we absolutely loved the front cover and the books overall construction and format. We found that the table of contents (right) provided a great guide to easily locating recipes for almost every critter one might consider eating. The cookbooks introduction provided terrific background information about how the recipes were obtained. It is indeed an interesting story in itself.

We found that the ingredients and cooking instructions are well written, easy to follow and well organized. Several of the recipes have humorous notes that make them fun to read.
We believe that "The Hunter's Cookbook: Or How Ta Cook Them Thar Critters" is a must have for every kitchen.

We were very impressed with several other feature of this great cookbook. There is a great explanation about the proper care of wild game that starts even before the hunt. Great sections in the appendix about how to skin and butcher including many diagrams. We particularly liked the appendix section about tanning hides. A wonderful addition to a wild game cookbook.
And, an easy to use, master index of recipes.

Tracker-Outdoors.com highly recommends "The Hunter's Cookbook: Or How Ta Cook Them Thar Critters" for anyone who cooks wild game of any kind. You won't be disappointed.

Regards,
David Selman
