Comment: Karen Pepkin, an incredible baker, taste-tests her recipes on many people before she publishes her cookbooks. Only the ones with outstanding reviews make the cut! Having tasted numerous baked goods of Karen's for many years, I heartily recommend BOTH of her cookbooks! They also make great "wishing well" gifts for showers. Add a scone pan and you have a regular gift that is both unusual and interesting. Scones are wonderful for brunches and breakfasts, but they are also delicious for snacks and desserts. You will be very glad that you bought this cookbook!
