Comment: These are some of the best vegan recipes you will ever try -- especially the artichoke dip (a huge party favorite among our vegan AND nonvegan friends). Most of the recipes are simple and easy to follow with ingredients that are familiar to most kitchens, like the super easy and super tasty Corn Tamale Pie. There are some more exotic recipes too, like the Oriental Shumai or the Chinese Steamed Buns. Some of the more practical recipes include a Mother Sauce recipe, which is a base for lots of different sauces and dressings, and a vegan "Parmesan" Sprinkle, made from almonds, yeast, and salt; great on popcorn, rice, pastas, salads, etc. This is the cookbook I come back to time and time again for delicious and easy recipes that are sure to please the palate of those with the most discriminating tastebuds. Every vegan home has got to have this cookbook. Nonvegans would enjoy it too. One more thing, all recipes are also soy free.
