Summary: Young Party Hosts Will Love It
Comment: TONS of great recipes, especially for young, party hosts/goers.

Summary: Not for non-gourmet types
Comment: I was hoping for a summer cookbook with recipes that featured typical summer foods. This book seemed perfect for a Martha Stewart waspy type but not for someone like me who was looking for twists on the typical fare. Not only that, but the recipes called for fairly expensive fare. If you shop at Central Market and host parties for friends who do also, then this is the book for you.

Summary: A fabulous cookbook.
Comment: I adore this cookbook. It's for people who love to cook and want to recombine fresh ingredients in new and interesting ways. It has everything from intriguing salads (like the green bean salad with jicama, yellow peppers, and tomato) to summer soups (like the chilled avocado soup with tomato-cucumber salsa) to entrees (like the spinach pesto-marinated chicken). If you like cooking with fresh foods, this is the cookbook for you.

Summary: The best cookbook I own/A great gift
Comment: Finally this cookbook has been re-released. I own many, many cookbooks and this is by far my all time favorite. You can use these recipies as a first time try on your guests. No worries.

Summary: A Wonderful Summer CookBook!
Comment: This book is full of delicious and appealing receipes for summer. It's wondefully put together, and so easy to follow. The receipes are easy enough that anyone (even those with little experience) could create wonderful and tastey meals. The photography is beautiful and it's enjoyably constructed. Highlights are the "Cold Lobster Salad" and the "Summer Squash Gratin" ...but, there are so many more that I can't wait to try. I recommend it to any cook out there!
