How many times has the instant that a wedding turned magical taken you by surprise? Was it the disarmingly accurate rehearsal dinner toast or the bride's knowing glance during the exchange of rings? Was it the vow that could only have been written by that particular man about this special woman or the significance of the song playing as they take the floor for their first dance as husband and wife? Whether staged with black tie formality in a candle-lit chateau or with bare feet under a summer oak tree, the perfect wedding is only perfect to the extent that it's personal. When you've decided to say yes, "In Style Weddings" is the one book you'll need to create your unique expression of this timeless ritual. So that when the time comes to say I do, you'll be in the moment - and loving it. Here's a world of inspiring options shown in exquisite detail - invitations, dresses, flowers, music, cakes - and tips from today's top wedding planners on how to make it all come together in a way that's personal, meaningful, and just right. Throughout each chapter, "In Style Weddings" includes details from celebrity nuptials: How Kate Beckinsale fell in love with her strapless Vera Wang gown, the flowers that Debra Messing carried, and the cake that Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas picked for their wedding.

Customer Rating: Summary: Makes a great coffee table book Comment: The pictures were very nice. But I agree, it is more of an idea and reference book than anything else.
Customer Rating: Summary: Review Comment: Loved it! I wish it could have been shipped a little sooner, but it was worth the wait.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not too great of a resource, but great pictures Comment: If you want a book to look at wedding-related pictures, this is a pretty good one. It has a little bit of planning information, but it really isn't that helpful. It has several pages on some celebrity weddings and it may give you some good ideas. It just isn't something that you need when you're planning your wedding because it isn't loaded with that much information. For example, it has several pages just talking about the engagement ring, which you don't need information on because you probably already have the ring if you're planning your wedding. It's a great visual book, but not a great resource.
Customer Rating: Summary: A coffe-table look at weddings Comment: Although I do not regret buying this book, it is more of an idea and reference book than anything else. But what else should one expect in a wedding book?
I really appreciated the section on invitations. It explains alot of vocabulary used in the printing industry. You think you know something about planning and events, and then you get engaged and realize that the smallest decision can be painstaking.
It could use an update as well. Most of the "celebrity" pairs included are no longer together.
Customer Rating: Summary: Inspiring Photos & Ideas Comment: I love this book! If you're planning your wedding and your vision is both tasteful, stylish, & classy - I highly recommend this book! I've had it for a few months now and my wedding is still 6 months away - I refer back to the book for additional ideas! Additionally, the photos are beautiful!
