Summary: Love product but can't find it consistently.
Comment: I bought this product in red and love it because I can serve cheese dips in it and they won't burn unlike any other product that I have purchased. I love it so much that I recommend it on my website, [........], however I am disappointed because the product keeps becoming "unavailable." I have tried other merchants and although Amazon has been most reliable, this product has become unavailable here too causing me to remove links from my site. Bummer!

Summary: Minimal heat retention
Comment: I bought this product because I thought I could keep a cheese dip warm for a party, or about 2 hours. I tested it out first by making homemade nacho cheese, and even though the enamled cast iron retains some heat if you warm it up on the stove first, the tealight is either too low or doesn't emit enough heat to keep the cheese warm for longer than 15 minutes. However, if you want to make a dip or fondue that's going to be eaten quickly, then it works fine. That being said, I really like the cobalt blue color and the wrought iron design of the base. The dish itself can be used on the stove top or in the oven for other recipes other than melted cheese.
